Get ready to taste the 9th annual fresh hopped community beer-CoHOPeration!

We are very excited about the beers for this year’s IPA fest. We can honestly say this is one of the most varied and best tasting flights of IPA you will ever have. Let us tell you more…..

The Hopshire IPAs

This is the one time of the year when we have 3 different IPAs on tap. That’s right…..lupulin gone wild.

coHOPeration 2021 – The 9th year of this community fresh hop ale is a citrus delight. This year our neighborhood hop growers brought mostly Cascade hops in a return to tradition. Rounding out the 40 pounds of hops used in coHOPeration were 15 other varieties including some beautiful Comet hops, Centennial, Nugget, Chinook and others. We dry hopped with Cascade and Centennial.

Haze in the Hollow – Our version of the New England IPA is everything this style is so popular for. The Mosaic, Citra and Galaxy hops are all added after the boil to create a beer that has no bitterness but lots and lots of tropical fruit flavors.

Near Varna – Our original big IPA continues to resonate with IPA drinkers. Its malty base to balances the strong bitterness and fills your palette with citrus hop flavors. We are not sure if it a West Coast IPA or an East coast IPA but we know it is near Varna.

Now for the guest tap IPAs

Once again Diane and I travelled far and wide to find the right IPAs to round out our flight. This year we are excited to have some incredible, award winning IPAs to offer.

Mass Riot (New England IPA, Prison City Brewing, Auburn) 6.8% abv

Rarely seen outside the Prison City tasting rooms this beer was called the Best IPA in America a couple years back. It is a fantastic example of a hazy New England IPA. A hazy, juicy treat. Loaded with Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic hops.

Annie (Double IPA, Good Nature Brewing, Hamilton, NY) 8.8% abv

Good Nature has been brewing Annie for a few years now and it is one of our favorite double IPAs. Extremely juicy with citrus and tropical notes. Dangerously drinkable and award winning

Frankensteiner (Black IPA, New York Beer Project, Victor, NY) 5.8% abv

Whenever we can we like to add a black IPA to the flight to preserve the style called “Cascadian ales”. If you have not been to the NYBP you need to take a road trip. Frankensteiner is known for its roasty yet simultaneously hoppy taste, this beer is complex,

Flights of 5 oz. each of these 6 IPAs is $15.
