Kick Cancer in the Cornhole-Fundraiser for Martha Rhinehart

Martha Rhinehart was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2014. After initially doing chemotherapy, she enjoyed the last two years in good health. In November of 2016, while visiting her daughter in Boston, MA, Martha’s health took a downward spiral resulting in a long hospital stay. She was able to return home right before Christmas with some improvement, but in March ended up in the ICU at Cayuga Medical Center in complete kidney failure. Multiple Myeloma is a very difficult cancer to treat, as it starts to attack the organs and shut them down. The ICU/Oncology team at Cayuga was absolutely phenomenal and they did not give up on her. Against all the odds, and through emergent dialysis and steriod therapy; Martha’s kidneys began to function. She is now home with her family which is a huge answer to many, many prayers. She is currently doing chemotherapy from home.

On May 6th, join us in a cornhole tournament at Hopshire Brewery to benefit Martha and her family! Compete in the tournament with your teammate or just come hang out, watch the games, eat amazing BBQ and enjoy delicious beer.
