Sundown Sally is a 4-piece, Alt-Americana band based out of Ithaca, NY. Soulful and heartfelt lyrics and songs are the original works and creation of local singer-songwriter Heather Boob. Featuring Ashley Broadwell on lead electric guitar. the driving yet, classically trained bow arm of IC Grad, Audrey Miller and the rhythmic energy of drummer, Ms. Paula Cusano. Drawing on strong influences of classic country and folk to rock-n-roll and pop, Sundown Sally traverses over these and back again, offering energizing, live performances that leave your heart bellowing with song. Expansive and building ballads belting of love lust, love lost and love longing are fresh, yet familiar. Band influences range from Dolly Parton and Bonnie Raitt, to The Lumineers and The Avett Brothers, leaving you with a little bit of this and that to shake your hips and tap your toes to.
