The Brothers grew up in the hills of Cortland County on the tippy-top of Mt. Roderick, a wee mountain but a mountain nonetheless. Heavily influenced by their father’s stack of 45’s, the Brothers began playing music together in their mid-teens. After spending their twenties noodling around behind closed doors, the Brothers have emerged as a fresh addition to the Cortland music scene. In 2012 they adopted their third brother, Casey Widger, a well-known Cortland-area musician and high school friend. Together they play a wide variety of music, including folk, Celtic, and bluegrass.
